The jury has unanimously declared Maatschap Des Indes the winner of the FGH Real Estate Award 2006 for the renovation and extension of Hotel Des Indes in The Hague.

While paying due deference to the building and its unique history, the initiators have transformed Hotel Des Indes into five star accommodation that entirely meets contemporary wishes and requirements. Effective management of the project risk and the eventual project economy is testament to excellent entrepreneurship, which is why the jury appointed Hotel Des Indes the winner. The redevelopment allows the hotel to further emphasise its positive contribution to the image of The Hague.
